Rajasthan NEET Counselling 2023 would be held after calling candidates on the merit list for document verification. Rajasthan NEET UG Seats 2023
For Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling 2023, there will be separate sessions for both the state quota (85% of seats) and the all India quota (15% of seats). Candidates who qualify and are included in the merit list will proceed to the document verification stage. After successful verification, the Rajasthan NEET 2023 merit list will be published in PDF format, based on the registration details of the candidates.
The Rajasthan NEET 2023 counselling process for MBBS and BDS admissions will be conducted online. For the state quota, three rounds of counselling will be held. Last year, a total of 1,403 BDS and 5,075 MBBS exams were taken. The number of counselling rounds will depend on the availability of seats after each round, which may vary this year. Raj NEET UG Counselling Process 2023
The process of Rajasthan MBBS/BDS admission for 2023 is outlined in the following steps:

Step 2: Publication of State Merit List: The counselling authority will release the state merit list once the application process is concluded.

Step 4: Choice Filling and Locking: After successful document verification, candidates are required to select their preferred courses and colleges. It is essential to carefully enter their choices. Once done, they need to lock their selections.
Step 5: Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted based on the choices filled, seat availability, state merit rank, and reservation criteria.
Step 6: Reporting to Designated Colleges: Candidates who receive the Rajasthan MBBS/BDS admission must report to the designated colleges within the specified date and time to complete the admission process for the year 2023.
Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling 2023 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the NEET Counselling in Rajasthan, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Qualify NEET Entrance Examination: The applicant should have successfully cleared the NEET Entrance Examination.
- Domicile Requirement: Aspirants must possess a domicile of Rajasthan. However, after the initial round of counselling, candidates from other states are also allowed to participate.
- Preference for Rajasthan State Domicile: Throughout the counselling process, preference is given to candidates with a Rajasthan State domicile.
- Educational Qualification: The Aspirants must have completed the 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination from a recognized educational institution.
- Mandatory Subjects and Marks: Aspirants must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology, along with English as compulsory subjects. They need to secure a minimum of 50% marks in these subjects. For SC/ST category candidates, a minimum of 40% marks is required, and physically handicapped candidates need to score at least 45% marks.

Raj NEET 2023 Seat Matrix
Rajasthan recently started its NEET UG Counselling, successfully allocating seats in 21 Government and 9 Private Medical Colleges. Through this process, 85% of seats in Government Colleges and 100% of seats in Private Colleges are being allotted by the Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling authority.
The Counselling also took into consideration seat reservations based on various categories, including Unreserved, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, MBC, and ST. In Government Medical Colleges, the available seats were categorised as Govt. seats, management seats, and NRI seats. On the other hand, Private Colleges offered general seats and management seats for the admission process.
