According to a report from Bloomberg News on Monday, Disney + Hotstar is nearing a deal to sell all of its Indian operations to Reliance Industries, its largest challenger in the country, for a price of about $10 billion. Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL) and Walt Disney, the owner of Disney+ Hotstar, purportedly held talks about the former selling its streaming and television businesses in India.
