HPTET 2023 Exam Date
Exam Date for the post of Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test is announced officially by the Board Of Secondary Education, HP, it will be held in offline mode through the OMR sheet from 26 November to 09 December 2023 with an exam time duration 02 hours and 30 minutes in two shifts for Paper I (JBT) and II (Other). Each and every single individual needs to know that to participate in this exam each individual will have to report at the respective exam centre an option prior gate closing time, because after gate(s) will be closed.

HPTET Eligibility 2023
Eligibility criteria for the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2023 in terms of educational qualification and age limit for Paper I and II is available below.
Educational Qualification
- JBT – Intermediate + 2 years JBT or DElEd or 4 years BElEd
- Shastri – Shastri from a recognised institution.
- TGT (Non-Medical) – BSc (NM) and at least 1 year B.Ed or Intermediate + 4 years BElEd.
- Language Teacher – BA with Hindi/Punjabi/Urdu + 2 years DElEd or BA/MA with Hindi/Punjabi/Urdu + at least 1 year BEd.
- TGT (Arts) – BA/BCom + 1 year BEd or Intermediate + 4 years BElEd
- TGT (Medical) – BSc (Medical) and at least 1 year B.Ed or Intermediate + 4 years BElEd
Age Limit
- It is mandatory that one’s age must not be below 18 years and there is no cap for upper age limit.

HPTET 2023 Application Fee
To apply for the TET November 2023 in Himachal Pradesh, the fee depends on your category. If an individual belongs to the General or Subcategories (except PHH), he or she will have to pay Rs. 800. For the SC, ST, OBC, or have a PH (Physically Handicapped) category, the fee is less, which is Rs. 500. Candidates will be able to pay the application fee using the debit or credit card.
