SSC MTS Eligibility 2024
Educational qualification and age limit details for the SSC MTS 2024 exam are as follows.
Educational Qualification:
- A candidate must have passed the 10th class (Matriculation) from a State board, CBSE or CISCE.
Age Limit:
- An applicant’s age must not be below 18 and above 25 years.
There will be upper age relaxation for OBC, SC/St and PH candidates for 3, 5 and 10 years, respectively.
SSC MTS Exam Date 2024

Those who are planning to apply online for the SSC MTS 2024 Exam need to know that it will be held in Computer Based Test mode with an exam time duration of an hour and thirty years, in which a total of 90 MCQs of each 3 marks will be asked.
SSC MTS 2024 Application Fee
The application fee for the SSC MTS 2024 exam will be ₹100 only for General candidates. Female and aspirants belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen won’t have to pay any fee. General and Other Backward Class will be able to pay fees through Net-Banking, Credit/Debit cards, BHIM or UPI.
SSC MTS 2024 Selection Process
The selection process for Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) positions in the SSC MTS 2024 exam consists of two stages, which are CBT and Document Verification.
Computer-Based Test (CBT): A total of 90 MCQs will be asked in two sessions, which are as follows.
- Session 1: A total of 40 MCQs from Numerical and Mathematical Ability and Reasoning Ability and Problem-Solving will be asked, whose weightage will be 120 marks.
- Session 2: A total of 50 MCQ General Awareness and English Language and Comprehension will be asked, whose weightage will be 150 marks.
Document Verification (DV): Candidates who will clear the CBT will be called for this stage and for the appointment.
SSC MTS 2024 Salary
The salary structure for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) post in the SSC MTS 2023 exam is as follows:
- Basic Pay: The basic pay for Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) is ₹18,000/-.
- Grade Pay: The grade pay for MTS is ₹1,800/-.
- Pay Band: According to the 7th Pay Commission, the in-hand salary for MTS falls in the range of ₹18,000/- to ₹22,000/- per month.
