Looking back at 2018, KCR called for early elections and dissolved the parliament about eight months ahead of time. Telangana election preparations have started. A one-day security module training for police officers was held on Wednesday, August 30. DGP Anjani Kumar said over 700 police officers were reshuffled following the ECI’s instruction and that 80-85 checkpoints were set up around the interstate borders with Chattisgarh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Odisha. The Congress formed multiple Telangana Assembly election committees on Saturday, months before the elections.
